What is "Artist, Interrupted: a woman's art collective"?

11:00-11:30 Key Note speaker Janis Wunderlich
As a full-time visual artist, spouse, and mother of five, Janis Wunderlich,
will share insights into creative solutions to finding a fulfilling artistic
and personal life.   Janis was recently featured in the documentary, Who Does She Think She Is? by Academy Award winning filmmaker Pamela Tanner Boll, chronicling the lives of five women who refuse to choose between the art they love and the families they love.

11:30-12:30 Roundtable Discussion
Q & A with Janis Wunderlich, Meghan Durham-Wall, and Jessi Walker
Conference participants will discuss challenges, questions, and successes of issues surrounding balance of family, home, and art life with these extraordinary women who manage the arts and home life.  This brainstorming session will be a way in which Artist, Interrupted can continue to address, meet, and solve some of the most challenging issues facing female artists.

1:00-2:00 Interdisciplinary activity. Recess.
The conference portion will feature a collaborative artistic experience and creation session.  As women who seek artistic inspiration, “Recess” is an opportunity to utilize themes, concepts, and processes of conference participants as a way to continue to foster and develop their artistic identities.

2:00-3:00 Goal Setting, Networking, and Resources for Women
Now what? Finding time, space, energy, and funding to develop one's creative gifts and talents
